Adoration is a non-profit organization that offers Help, Hope and Healing to those who are contemplating or had an abortion.

 

We offer support with community resources and active listening ears
in person, by phone call, text message, email exchange, video conferencing or other means of communication.


We hope to help those who are contemplating or had an abortion feel heard, loved, forgiven, empowered, and appreciated while continuing life after their choice.

RENEE PETWAY

Founder

Renee Petway is the founder and CEO of Adoration. Adoration was created to provide an open
door, open ears and open hands that offers Help, Hope and Healing to those who need a safe
space to receive counsel and support when contemplating or after having an abortion. We offer
support through community resources and active listening ears on site, by a telephone call, text
message, email exchange, video conferencing, or other means of communication by the
individual. 
She is also the co-founder of 2FAAB: Two Friends and A Blog, where the goals are to Inspire,

Impactand Influence through meaningful conversations, blogging and video engagement.

TANIKA WILLIAMS

Co-Founder

Tanika Williams is the Co-founder of Adoration. I agreed with the founder’s vision and knew my story
had to be told. Tanika resides in Raleigh, NC. She is a member of Word of Truth Church under the leadership of
Bishop Cortez Winston and 1st Lady Christal Winston. She has been married to Patrick Williams for the
past twelve years and is blessed with a beautiful family of 4. She is the grandmother to 2 beautiful
grandkids who are 2 years old and 9 months old.
She attended Colorado University-Majored in Criminal Justice

SWANDA WARREN

Swanda Warren is a graduate of North Carolina Central University where she earned her
undergraduate degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child
Development and Family Relations in 2002.
She is also a graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received her
master’s degree in leadership in Early Childhood Education in 2017. 
Swanda is currently employed by Child Care Services Association as a Quality Enhancement
Manager where she empowers early childcare educators through training and coaching.
She is also an entrepreneur. Swanda is the owner of EARresistible by SwansDesign. Where she
designs bold, beautiful, statement earrings for the everyday woman.
She is the co-founder of 2FAAB: Two Friends and A Blog, where the goals are to Inspire, Impact
and Influence through meaningful conversations, blogging and video engagement.

LATOYA WHITAKER

LaToya Whitaker found her passion for helping others while attending North Carolina Central
University. While in attendance she assisted with the organization of several blood drives, as well
as assisted with home restoration with Habitat for Humanity. She interned for Project DIRECT
(Diabetes Interventions Reaching and Educating Communities Together) and worked with the
program Teens Against Aids. LaToya earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education in May
of 2007. She went on to collect over 15 years of work experience in Customer Service, Management,
Child Care, Social Service Benefits, and Community Service. LaToya is now the proud mother of two
children, a daughter, sister, and friend living by the motto of my alma mater

“Truth and Service.”

LADONNA CHAIRSE

LaDonna Chairse is the oldest of four and was born and raised in a small town
in Arkansas. She moved to North Carolina alone at 18 and never looked back. Although the road
has not been easy she is stronger today because of the journey - and by the grace of God - she is still
standing. She currently works for WCPSS as an administrative assistant. The job allows

her to multi-task, helping a number of different people and it's never the same. She loves to read,
and her passion is to help in any way she can.
LaDonna joined the adoration team to help support and encourage women as they process and
make one of most difficult decisions of their lives.

TAYLOR KEYES

Passionate about fostering healthier communities and promoting equity, Taylor Keyes is an ardent
advocate in the realms of public and women’s health. With a deep-rooted commitment to
improving the well-being of individuals and society as a whole, Taylor has dedicated her efforts
to understanding the intricate intersections of health, policy, and gender dynamics. Throughout
her journey, Taylor has actively engaged in research, education, and advocacy initiatives that
tackle pressing issues within public and women’s health. From researching the impact of
socioeconomic factors on women’s access to healthcare, to raising awareness about critical
women’s health topics, she has consistently demonstrated her dedication to driving positive
change.
